Creator: Ratty524 BGM: "Overworld" from Super Mario All-Stars (SMB1) Underground BGM: "Underworld" from Super Mario Bros. Sky BGM: "Swimming" from Super Mario All-Stars (SMB1) Main Power-Up: Fire Flower 1-Ups: 4 Kelly: Yes
This stage throws convention out the window and has you begin at its ending! Contrary to Mario tradition, you progress the stage to the left instead of the right.
Even if you've seen this gimmick before, it's still a solid SMB1-style level. There are plenty of little secrets to find, and Kelly at the end wondering where you are.
The first extra life is hidden above the first power-up in an invisible block. Sometimes it pays to check for such things!
The second 1-Up is in another invisible block; this time against the wall above a pair of Bill blasters. If you took the low road by mistake, chances are you'll run right into it.
The stage's third life is in its underground secret. The entrance pipe is right after (before?) the checkpoint. There's also a stash of coins and an RMN coin as reward.
The final 1-Up is hiding in plain sight. An inconspicuous brick near the end of the stage conceals the shroom.
If you take the pipe for the underground secret, the exit will put you past this set of hammer bro bricks. One of them contains a vine that leads to a veritable jackpot in the sky.
However, the clouds bob up and down, and the coins are a bit too high to collect them all. You could do it with a leaf, but there isn't a single one to be found...
- In the air after the first power-up.
- Over the pit after the slide.
- In the underground secret.
- High in the air outside the underground exit.
- Guarded by the final pair of hammer bros.
