3-7 Forest Temple

This stage is themed after the Forest Temple from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's a gloomy castle that's riddled with vines and traps. Dry bones and boos are standing in for Zelda's stalfos and poes. If you're not careful, you could find yourself landing on spikes a lot. The level isn't very puzzle-oriented, but there is a room with a crushing ceiling, so watch out for that! And the hidden secrets as well.

1-Ups[]

3-7 Life1

The first extra life is in the first room. A vine hangs down from above the screen, but it's too high to reach normally. The invisible block beneath it lets you climb into the loft for the shroom and a few coins.

3-7 Life2

The second 1-Up is in the crushing room. When you climb to the upper floor on the right, there are some vines to jump between on the left. The extra life is your reward, but missing a jump means landing on the spiky top side of the crusher! At least it doesn't go all the way up.

Other Secrets[]

3-7 Secret1

The temple has a few coins stashed about in various places. Outside the entrance, an invisible block can be found against the right edge of the area.

3-7 Secret2

Climbing above the first crusher may seem like a bad idea, but it's perfectly safe. Hop through when it hits the floor, and you'll find more coins up above.

3-7 Secret3

The final secret is at the level's end. Each of the three mushroom platforms has an invisible block hidden above with a few coins in all of them.

RMN Coins[]

  1. Above a torch in the first room.
  2. Surrounded by roto-discs near the end of the first room.
  3. Underneath the checkpoint in the vertical shaft.
  4. In the left alcove of the final crusher.
  5. Against the wall near the exit of the final room.

Trivia[]

This is one of the few stages in Super RMN World that was originally made for another project. There was another collaborative SMBX game on RMN that never got off the ground. Deckiller was one of the few who were in on it, and he requested that the couple stages he made for it be repurposed for RMN World. Shroom Lake is the only other.
